In this short guided meditation, Adam Coelho leads a calm, breath-centered practice recorded live in the Mindful FIRE Legends Community. You’ll start by settling in with three deep breaths, then do a gentle check-in with your body and mind. From there, the practice moves into simple breath awareness—notice the in-breath, notice the out-breath—and each time the mind wanders, you practice returning with kindness.
As the meditation closes, Adam invites you to name an intention you’d like to carry into the rest of your day, finishing with three deep breaths and a soft return to your surroundings.

Adam Coelhowelcome to this guided meditation. As always, this meditation was recorded at the Mindful Fire Legends Community meeting. But for now, let's begin with three deep breaths. Closing your eyes, positioning your body in a position that allows you to be alert and relaxed. And just drop into those three deep breaths in and out. And as you sit and breathe, just checking in with yourself, noticing what it's like in your body as you arrive here in this moment, noticing if it feels tired or awake. Just tuning into whatever's there to be noticed right now in my body. It's like this, and checking in with your mind as well. Noticing whatever's there to be noticed, busy or calm, tense or relaxed. However it is. It's like this right now, in my mind. It's like this. And now letting go of that. Just finding your way to the breath sensations, wherever they're most vivid right now, and just resting your attention there. Feeling the breath as it comes in, and knowing, feeling the breath as it goes out and knowing it. Breathing in and knowing that you're breathing in, breathing out, and knowing that you're breathing out. Nothing else to do. Just this in breath and just this out breath. Observing them moment by moment by moment, and breath by breath by breath. Whenever your mind drifts away into thought, which will happen many times, just notice with that same kind, curious awareness of mindfulness, oh, thinking's happening, and then just gently bringing your attention back to the breath and beginning again. And again, as your mind is pulled away each time, just bring it back gently refocusing on this in breath or this out breath and just experiencing it. Each time, your mind wanders away and you bring it back. You're strengthening your muscles of men, mental attention of attention and meta attention, and so just appreciate that you notice and come back and begin. We are resting in this moment. Resting in the simplicity of this in breath and resting in the simplicity of this out breath. Each one completely new, completely unique, each one, your life happening here and now letting everything else be in in the background and just resting and appreciating this moment and this breath. And as we approach the end of this practice, I invite you to bring to mind an intention, an intention that you'd like to carry and embody into the rest of your day. Just be curious and see what arises. And feeling what that feels like as you sit with that intention for a moment, I, and let us finish with three deep breaths together. Breathing in, breathing out again in and, uh. Once more in letting it go. And when you're ready, opening your eyes, coming back. Thank you for your attention.
